Australian owned market innovator Red Spot Car Rentals will be the first car rental company inAustralia to offer e-TAGs with its rental cars. From September 1^st 2006 Red Spot will make the e-TAGs available from its Melbourne and Sydney airport and downtown locations.

 “We are proud to announce this initiative after being asked to provide e-TAGs by our regular customers. We started by offering the e-TAGs on a 3-month trial at Sydney Airport for a flat rate of just $16.50 per day per e-TAG. This includes unlimited toll road use on any motorway with electronic tolling”, sayDan Mekler CEO of Red Spot Car Rentals.

 The E-tags can be used on e-toll equipped motorways in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. With more and more new toll roads and motorways no longer accepting cash for payment E-tags are an absolute must. E-tags offer benefits such as simple one invoice billing in combination with car hire, they are convenient and easy to use, and they save time and money by avoiding manual payment queues.
